Auburn to host World Premiere for 'Life of the Party'

So how is Auburn University getting to host "Life of the Party" starring Melissa McCarthy at the AMC Tiger 13 theater on April 30th? Here's what they said. . .

How did the “Party” get to Auburn? Thanks to Warner Bros. Pictures  and New Line Cinema’s nationwide Premiere Promotion, colleges across the  country vied for the star-studded World Premiere to come to their town  by showing us their incredible school spirit!  As the competition heated  up, college students in the Top 25 universities voted, cheered, and  posted a multitude of photos, and while it was neck and neck until the  final buzzer, the TIGERS made the most noise! Starring the eternally youthful Melissa McCarthy, LIFE OF THE PARTY tells the story of longtime dedicated housewife Deanna who, when her husband suddenly dumps her, turns regret into re-set by going back to college—alongside her daughter—and plunging headlong into the campus experience!

The red carpet and world premiere will take place at the AMC Tiger 13 at 1900 Capps Landing in Opelika. The Red Carpet event will begin at 6pm with the World Premiere happening at 7pm.

Showing up for the Red Carpet and World Premiere will be  Melissa McCarthy, Gillian Jacobs, Julie Bowen, Matt Walsh, Molly  Gordon,  Stephen Root, Jessie Ennis, Adria Arjona, Debby Ryan, Jimmy O.  Yang, Luke Benward,  and director Ben Falcone.  Additional special  guests and celebrities to be announced.

The movie 'Life of the Party' will debut worldwide on May 11th. The film is rated PG-13
